Zirka Circus
Zirka Circus bring their latest show to the Coca-Cola Easter Show. Out of this World is 2 hours long, with a 15 minute intermission at half time.
Zirka Circus is New Zealand’s first completely new circus in many years and the first contemporary circus to be owned and operated here by a woman! Owner/manager Jeni Hou’s family has been in entertainment and circus for 3 generations.

The WotWots

This year our stage is bigger than ever. It’s right in front of our old main entrance (Greenlane West) and promises to entertain you right until we close at 10pm.

A&P Show
The famous Coca-Cola Easter A&P Show is an annual event that has be running for 169 years. That's a long time! We have a wonderful display of best-of-breed animals and animal competitions to keep animal buffs entertained for hours. These wonderful animals vary daily and include everything from beef cattle to rabbits. This show is a big part of why we exist and run the Coca-Cola Easter Show each year, to bring the country to town, so come and enjoy the events and give your support to competitors.

Canadian Bushwhackers
We have an all-new show for 2012. Never has there been so much excitement watching what skilled lumberjacks can do to logs of wood!

Interactive Farm Zone
Interactive Farm World offers kids of all ages the chance to get up close to farm animals; you can even learn how to milk a cow! We’ve got big animal cut outs called Pasture Pals and lots of other new and exciting interactive activities to entertain everybody.

Largest Art Show
The famous Coca-Cola Easter Show Art Awards, which is New Zealand’s largest art show, features hundreds of artworks from all over New Zealand, which are for sale during the show. Another feature of the Art Pavilion are the working artist displays, face painting by award winning Carmel McCormick and hands on art activities for the kids.

Horse Events
At neighbouring Alexandra Park, the Coca-Cola Easter Show equestrian competition runs for four days. This beautiful display has stunning horse breeds ranging from Arabian to Shetland Ponies and Miniature horses, with new sections for standardbreds and show riding horses.

Strong Man
Are you ready to see some of the strongest men alive?
2012 sees a return to New Zealand of the Strong Man. This will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Coca-Cola Easter Show and it promises to be a shirt ripping time!
